LG 42" 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV.
SEE THE DETAILS AND COMPARE AT LG http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-42LV4400-led-tv
or you can still see the discontinued listing of LG 42" 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV 42LV4400 Newegg $799.99 at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889005252. I got it for a little less than $799.
There is still a little left on the warantee, so the buyer can have a valid copy of the original receipt.

The comparable new models I've found are 42LS5700 which is about $750 with tax at Best Buy, and listed at $689.99 (unpublished price)
on Newegg.com 42LS5700 Item #: N82E16889005303. The details about this year's model are on LG at http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-42LS5700
There is also a 42LV3700 for $999.99 PLUS tax at Fry's. http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-42LV3700-led-tv

I highly recomend a 120Hz HDTV over a 60Hz whether you are watching HDTV, DVD up-conversion, but particularly Blu-Ray.
Sometimes the dropped frames are actually noticeable at 60Hz. The same is true for some HDTV broadcasts.
However, in my experience, I have not been able to see any difference between 120Hz and 240Hz at least with a short demo.

This TV is full 1080p at 120Hz, but is in the price range for a 720p/60Hz of a similar size.
If this is your price and size range, you can now get the best performance also.

This is a compact computer with plenty of power for your back to school student, someones first computer, or you just don't want to take up space. It's approximately 8 1/2" wide. 5" high. and 12" deep when set in the preferred desktop position. The data hard drive is housed in a seperate eSATA enclosure (included) If you aren't familiar with the specs below, come over and try it out. You may just be looking for a good, affordable computer, and this has the advantage of taking up very little space. One important note is that Windows will, or should be, installed on an included Solid State Drive or "SSD, which has no moving parts. It also uses a lot less power and lasts years longer than a normal drive. The response time is much faster, and it is gauranteed for 5 years. The operating sytem is not included in the price since there are several options below, and some already have all the sofware they need.
